When clicking on it there is no distinction between paid movies, local catchup stations, Disney+ and for the life of me can’t even find where the Apple + subscription content is. But now, a new build based on Kodi 17.4 has been released for Apple TV and it’s not only compatible with previous Apple TV 4th-gen model, but also the newer Apple TV 4K model. For those who don’t know, Kodi 17.4 brings bug fixes, security patches, and under-the-hood If I needed Kodi, I’d just load it up on a cheap Firestick or something rather than constantly mess with side loading, unless the process has became way less annoying. I do understand what you're saying but just wanted to point out that you have to sideload Kodi on Fire TV as of 2015 IIRC. Luckily, there are tools you can sideload on FireTV
